Here's a colored version of the line art I submitted a couple days ago. I didn't know I was going to take this approach until after I'd already gotten some way into painting it in a more traditional-looking way.

I learned a lot from working on this. Next time I'd like to try something more dynamic. I'm always drawn to these stylized, flat sorts of poses because of their iconic quality, but I get jealous the way I see my mentors really throwing around some space, and I think I should be doing that as well.
